A Temporary New Direction
I started this podcast/blog/vlog on the advice that waiting until conditions are perfect means I would never begin. In hindsight, maybe I should have ignored that advice because my biggest enemy to progress has been time and energy, both of which I possess in small quantities!
At the same time, I’ve learned so much through the process. I’ve learned how to record interviews, edit videos, market a blog, and more. All great and helpful skills. But as I am the king of taking on more than I can handle, I have come to a breaking point where I know that something has to change, if only for a season.
This is mainly because I have certain things that I have started, like a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Redemption Seminary, that I really need to focus on finishing and finishing well.1 Of course, I also have my relationship with God and my roles as husband and father, which I cannot allow to play second fiddle.
Therefore, going forward, if only for a season, I will be changing direction with this vlog. I will not be focusing on producing much original content, but rather, I’ll be reposting the content of others that I find valuable. I may comment on this content, but not extensively. If you’re a subscriber, you may notice that I haven’t released a lot of content anyway, and that is precisely why I’m changing direction. Producing original content is very very time-consuming, and I tend to be a perfectionist, so it’s never good enough. I have like, twenty draft posts that remain unfinished for this very reason! Someday when I am done with school, I’ll work on those, but for now, in the name of sanity and all that is holy, I need to focus on life and school!
Thank you for following me on this vlog and social media. I am thankful for those who show an interest in what I have to say, and I hope, God willing, that a time will come in my life when I have the space to consistently produce original content. Part of my vision includes bible studies and teaching on biblical, anthropological, social, and historical topics, as well as interviews and commentary on current events.
Stay tuned and God bless all of you!

Redemption Seminary is a 100% online seminary based on Logos Mobile Education courses and personal mentorship from Ph.D. level mentors. It’s been an amazing experience and I highly recommend this school!
